Project time

Well no longer working full-time, but certain projects need to be done.

Bathroom before, we had already replaced the 

old yellow toilet and former vanity, so we kept those.

The Man did all the destroying, I stayed away, but once things were cleaned up...

that back wall had no insulation!

The oldest laid the floor tile, the Man had to do cuts as I found

I couldn't cut the thick stuff without

the electric tile cutter.

Both the Man and I tiled the surround, did you notice the

new soaking tub? He still did the majority of the cuts and I installed

all the tiles as far as I could reach.

He had to do all

the upper tiling over my five foot something reach.

Finished, a nice collaborative effort by the whole crew.

Finished and in use.

I quit my job..

Well kind of.

I decided that with my husband retired for three years now,

my brother and sister in law no longer working,

it was time for the former stay at home mom to cut back her hours.

The DOD where I worked doesn't do part-time, so I left.

But when you look at the people I was working with......

The ladies had no idea what was going on behind them.

I had to prank the Chief one last time.

Took me an hour to wrap it up, him two hours to undo, glad I wasn't there.

Yeah, I think they love me.

But I have found a part time retail position, software is very different. Insurance is a pain.

But a good team is a good team and that is what I've been given once again.

Garage sale...

Trying to get rid of too much stuff....

You can imagine who the star was though...and who wanted to keep a few things.

Still made a little money...

Isn't she just too cute?!

       

Got some catching up to do....

To start with we spent last Christmas at my youngest's home, by we I mean my mom, brother and his wife, my oldest and her daughter.

It was the first Christmas we spent at her home, and of course she had some daddy do's.

One was cutting down a dead tree in her yard and 

I think the other had something to do with their lawnmower.

The granddaughter had the chance to experience a few snowflakes.

  

Gifts were opened.

  

Dance lesson was scheduled.

 

Just a lot of family fun time.
